M K Muneer

Politician, Doctor, Social worker, Singer, Poet , Author M K Muneer is a politician, doctor, social worker, singer, poet and author from Kerala. He was former Minister for Social Welfare and Panchayat representing the Kozhikode south constituency. He was the the Minister for Public Works in both the A K Anthonny ministry and the Oommen Chandy ministry. Muneer is a State secretary of the Indian Union Muslim League and the Chairman of the Malayalam TV channel Indiavision. He completed his medical degree from Government Medical College, Kozhikode. He is known as a singer and writer who has written ghazals and books including Fascism and the Sangh Parivar. Muneer is the son of veteran Muslim league political leader and former Chief Minister of Kerala, C. H. Mohammed Koya.
