Pawan Karan is an Indian poet, coloumnist, writer, editor, and social and political analyst. He writes in Hindi. He writes on women, imperialism, capitalism and religious fanatics. His works include Iss Tarah Mein (2000), Stree Mere Bheetar (2004), Aspatal ke Bahar Telephone(2009), Kehna Nahi Aata (2012) and Koat ke Baju par Badan(2013). He has won the Ram Vilas Sharma Samman, Raza Samman, Vaagishwari Samman, Pushskin Samman, Sheela Siddhantkar Samman, Rituraj Samman and Kedar Samman.
