Prasanna Varma

Translator and writer Prasanna Varma is a translator and writer based in Kerala, India. She has translated the work The Ivory Throne by Manu S Pillai into Malyalam. She is a graduate in English literature but prefers to write in Malayalam. She has also written screenplays for short films and historical docu-dramas. Currently, she is involved in translating Shashi Tharoor’s work Why I am a Hindu into Malayalam. She recently went on a trek up Mt Kilimajaro in Africa. She has written the books Dantha Simhasanam and Thiruvithamkoor Rajavamsathinte Athisayakaramaaya Naalvazhikal.
