Sekhar Lukose Kuriakose

Scientist Shekhar Lukose Kuriakose is member Secretary (ex-officio), Kerala State Disaster Management Authority, Head (Scientist), Kerala State Emergency Operations Centre, Special Officer, Mullaperiyar Crisis Management and State Nodal Officer for Drought and Monsoon Calamity Monitoring,Kerala. He holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences from the University of Utrecht in Netherlands. He has published 13 peer-reviewed articles in International scientific journals. He is co-author, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations ‘Status of knowledge report on Forests and Landslides’, 2013, Contributor, Encyclopaedia of Agrophysics published by Springer Verlag, 2011, Editor, First State Disaster Management Plan for Kerala (2016) and Editor, First District Disaster Management Plans of 14 districts of Kerala (2015)
