She is a prominent contemporary critic who has won many awards and honours, chief among them being Kerala Sahithya Akademi Award, Kendra Sahithya Akademi Award, Vayalar Award, and Padma Shri Award. Her notable works are ‘Varnaraji’, ‘Kavithadhwani’, ‘Appuvinte Anveshanam’ etc.

He was honoured with Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, Vayalar Award and the like. His notable works include ‘Pandavapuram’, ‘Marupiravi’, ‘Sanidasa’, ‘Doothu’, ‘Guru’ etc. He has received the State Film Award for best story for the movie ‘Poothiruvathira Ravil’.
Historian, author and translator. Based in Tamil Nadu, he is noted for collecting and publishing the works of Tamil writer Pudhumaipithan. Currently serving in the advisory board of Tamil iyal virudhu, a Canadian based organisation. Constantly collaborates with National daily, ‘The Hindu’. He was awarded the V. K. R. V. Rao prize in Social Science Research in 2007.
