Arundhati Roy

Writer and Activist. Arundathi Roy has penned numerous essays on socio-political issues in India. She won the Booker prize for her famous novel The God of Small Things. She has also received the National Award for the best screenplay in 1989. In 2003, she was awarded “special recognition” as a Woman of Peace at the Global Exchange Human Rights Awards. Roy was featured in the 2014 list of Time 100—the 100 most influential people in the world.

Today, the Government of Kerala takes a leap and brings together literary lovers across the globe through an international platform – International Book Fair 2020. The fair which will be held from 6th-16th february 2020 at the Marine Drive grounds, Kochi, Kerala, will be a one of kind platform for international, national and local publishers who wish to reach out to the most well informed audiences with a rich literary lineage.
