Palagummi Sainath

Journalist, author, teacher and rural reporter. He is the founder and editor of the People’s Archive of Rural India. He has been writing for the national newspaper, The Hindu, for close to 6 years. University of Alberta has given him an Honorary Doctor of Letters degree in 2011. He received the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2007.
